This site is dedicated to my wife, Brynn Fowler, who inspired me and continues to inspire me about life, love, happiness, reflection and the importance to continue on one’s personal journey.

The original site, Millennial with Cancer, was created by Brynn to capture her journey, growth and evolution from the experience of being diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer at the age 37. Her goal was to bring awareness to the disease, pass on information as she learned about it, as well as chronicle the day-to-day emotions, challenges and the ups and downs of living with cancer.

Her true passion had been focused on creating a community for women working in tech, in which she co-founded Women’s Tech Forum in 2017, while writing and speaking on issues related to women in tech, diversity and inclusion.

She truly leaves this world having influenced so many people’s lives and will always be remembered as someone who gave her everything.

After losing Brynn, I decided to follow in her footsteps, and continue to write about my experience with grief, the pivots I’ve been having to make, and the discoveries of who I am after all of this. Brynn forcing me to write for her blog made me realize the therapeutic nature of putting down my thoughts and sharing. So, I’ve decided to continue writing in a new blog.
